Bryan/College Station is a wonderful place to live and has become a second home to me. It is a welcoming community that has a unique mix of family-owned restaurants along with quaint cafes and the ever-popular Northgate providing students with many options in planning an evening out with friends. There are also various cultural events such as Broadway shows and operas along with a distinguished panel of speakers that visit the area every year that make living here not only enjoyable, but culturally stimulating as well. Another benefit of living here is the ease in which one can make daytrips to larger metropolitans since Houston and Austin are both just under two hours away. The small town values have stayed constant though the area continues to experience tremendous growth .
