The welcoming atmosphere at the College of Architecture at Texas A&M and the strong sense of integration into the University environment has made is easy for me as an international graduate student to find a "home away from home." The commitment of professors for graduate students and the academic resources provided an excellent interdisciplinary educational experience. I was encouraged to look outside of my own discipline and research ways in which other disciplines benefit architecture. Of all the universities I have attended, here I found the best interaction between academics and practitioners in architecture / engineering. The Aggie family gave me the opportunity to organize and interact with a large variety of student organizations ¾ providing growth in my personal life as well.
