- Prospective student submits application fee, test scores, transcripts, forms, letters, and documents to specific department.
- Prospective student completes and submits electronic application to TAMU via ApplyTexas by 6 pm on any business day.
- ApplyTexas routes completed application to TAMU on the next business day following submission.
- TAMU Office of Admissions and Records (OAR) enters student information into computer system, assigns/confirms student ID number (UIN), and loads application data into shared viewing system.
- Applicant receives an acknowledgement of receipt, UIN for Net-ID activation and ability to access AIS, which will allow viewing of acceptance decision.
- Department reviews the application and routes acceptance decision to OAR.
- OAR enters decision into the computer system and mails paper letter to applicant.
- Applicant views decision in AIS.
