Coordinated by the Office of Graduate Studies, the New Graduate Student Orientation provides an overview of what to expect at Texas A&M University — including information on policies, procedures, resources and services on campus and in the community. The Office of Graduate Studies encourages all students to attend the on-campus orientation. You’ll meet campus leaders, administrators, and fellow graduate students. To attend the New Graduate Student Orientation you must be an admitted graduate student for the Fall 2013 semester. All admitted graduate students — domestic and international — are encouraged to attend New Graduate Student Orientation. Details for international students
No on-site registration fee is required. A $50 new graduate student fee is charged to all new graduate students and will be included in the semester’s fee statement. Keep in mind that when the theatre is filled to capacity, we can’t open up more seats on that particular date.

Some departments and colleges have a separate orientation for their new graduate students. For information on departmental or college orientations that provides details for specific graduate programs or majors, check with your graduate advisor or other department staff.
