F. Barry Lawrence, Ph.D. '99

Dr. Lawrence is the Program Director for the Industrial Distribution Program and the Thomas and Joan Read Center for Distribution Research and Education. He also the Director and creator of the Supply Chain Systems Laboratory (SCSL), the largest research organization in Industrial Distribution channels. After years of leading supply chain projects in distribution, Dr. Lawrence is currently working on the Texas - Mexico Trade Corridor Consortium. The Consortium brings together academic researchers from multiple universities with manufacturers, distributors, infrastructure providers, government and economic development organizations on both sides of the border to support the growth of Texas and Mexico trade.  Future projects for the SCSL include healthcare supply chains and food banks in the lab's continuing process to serve the people of Texas and our neighbors.
