Arunachalam Narayanan is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution at Dwight Look College of Engineering. His dissertation on coordinated replenishment systems won the prestigious Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) Doctoral Dissertation Award in  2007 and has received several distinguished faculty award from Industrial Distribution student organizations. He has worked on industry-funded projects in the state of Texas for automobile and industrial distributors. He is also part of the 'Texas - Mexico Trade corridor Consortium', whose objective is to conduct research and provide guidance on regional manufacturing and distribution opportunities in the Texas - Mexico region.
